Job summary

CF Industries, a leading energy and fertilizer company, seeks a Safety Superintendent to lead occupational safety, health, and security programs. You will drive regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous safety improvements across the facility, engaging employees and guiding safety personnel.

The role is housed within the Environmental, Health & Safety function and emphasizes developing and monitoring programs, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to advance a culture of safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience leading safety programs, compliance initiatives, and risk management systems.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CRSP, CIH, COSS, ROH, CMIOSH, MPH, or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety, health, industrial hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence culture change and collaborate across the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

This position plays a critical role in advancing a culture of safety excellence by engaging employees, developing safety personnel, reducing operational risk, and aligning safety initiatives with business objectives.
