Job summary

Ahern invites you to join our Safety Internship in Milwaukee, WI, offering hands-on experience in construction and manufacturing environments. This paid internship begins in May and runs through August, with meaningful work and exposure to safety leadership.

You will analyze risks, learn safety practices, collect data, and gain experience with VelocityEHS while contributing to real projects that protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in the health and safety or industrial hygiene field (School of Engineering or Science).
• Candidates should be knowledgeable of MS Word & Excel.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, people focused and able to grasp information quickly.

Responsibilities

• Engage in task risk analysis.
• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling and safety practice reviews.
• Analyze and trend data, field project visits and work with VelocityEHS safety management software.

How will you contribute:

The safety internship will provide an opportunity to engage in a construction and manufacturing environmentworking closely with the safety team and various business units throughout the company. The intern willengage in task risk analysis, industrial hygiene sampling,safety practice reviews, analyzing and trending data, field project visits, and an opportunity to work with VelocityEHS safety management software.
