**Safety Specialist** **Our Purpose, Vision and Values**Our purpose, vision and values are the guiding principles that will serve as the cornerstone of our company’s future direction and operations, aligning our team and organization towards our common goals.**Our Purpose** is to safely and sustainably produce lithium from Thacker Pass to enable North America to reduce dependence on foreign critical minerals and drive value for our stakeholders. **Role** We are seeking a Safety Specialist to join our Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Safety Manager in developing and implementing effective safety programs for Thacker Pass. This position plays a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across site operations. The Safety Specialist will coordinate safety audits, inspections, training, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with MSHA and OSHA regulatory requirements. The plant will consist of a sulfuric acid plant and processes for clay beneficiation, acid leaching, neutralization, crystallization, chemical precipitations, solid/liquid separations, and ion exchange. The successful candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to improve safety in OSHA and MSHA regulated environments.The role is based at our Winnemucca, NV office during construction and transition to the Thacker Pass Project during commissioning and throughout production and will report to the Safety Manager.
