Job summary

Bridger Pipeline LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Watford City, North Dakota. You will lead safety meetings, conduct site inspections, and develop policies to ensure regulatory compliance and worker safety.

The position requires a college degree or equivalent experience in safety, strong office skills, and the ability to interpret safety documents. A supportive benefits package accompanies this critical role.

Qualifications

• A college degree with related experience in safety work; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Good office skills and record keeping abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings; communicate technical information clearly.
• Conduct site safety inspections; recommend remedies for unsafe conditions and monitor workplace conditions.
• Perform training on DOT operator qualification topics and OSHA safety topics.
• Prepare safety policies and guidance materials.
• Maintain and track safety training records; evaluate contractor safety performances.

What You'll Do:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities

• A college degree with related experience in safety work; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Good office skills and record keeping abilities.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word processing software.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• English language fluency, verbal and written
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
