Job summary

Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club is seeking an on-site Safety & Security Officer to keep the property safe for members and guests. You will patrol, monitor access, generate daily logs, and respond to emergencies while upholding our high service standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work flexible hours, and a background in security. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 1–3 years security experience preferred.
• Pass standard Criminal and Driving background check.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with members and staff.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Able to operate in varied weather and high-stress incidents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property safe and secure for members, guests, employees and visitors.
• Operations of security posts, monitoring traffic in and out of property.
• Patrolling the property and noting safety and security needs.
• Generate daily security logs and reports.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents on property.
• Complete thorough incident reports and investigations.
• Coordinate and monitor events for a safe environment.
• Crowd control and enforcing property policies.
• Assist members, guests and staff with needs or problems on property.

Your Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Responsible for keeping the property safe and secure for all members, guests, employees and any visitors.
• Operations of Security posts, monitoring traffic in and out of property.
• Patrolling of the property, checking for safety and security demands.
• Generate daily reports and keep up security logs.
• Respond to any and all emergencies and incidents on property.
• Complete thorough incident reports and investigations.
• Coordinate and monitor all events for safe and secure environment.
• Crowd control.
• Enforcing policies and procedures on property.
• Assist members, guests, employees and visitors with any needs or problems that may arise while on property.

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Military, Law Enforcement or 1-3 years Security experience preferred.
• Complete and pass a standard Criminal and Driving background check.
• Excellent communications skills to interact with members, guests, employees, managers and construction personnel.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking candidates preferred and highly encouraged to apply.
• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
• Detailed, clear and concise report writing.
• Be able to create a positive work environment at all times.
• Perform in highly stressful situations when incidents occur.
• Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions independently.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth work environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, morning, and night.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures to include inside and outside areas.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis independently or with help.
• Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting and carrying.
