About This Role

North Houston Pole Line is seeking dedicated Safety Representatives with experience in the utility construction space. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures related to overhead and underground electrical distribution, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety excellence.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and monitor overhead and underground electrical distribution to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Perform risk assessments to evaluate hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Provide training and education to employees and contractors on safety protocols and best practices.
• Stay informed about relevant safety regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training activities, and compliance documentation; prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years as a lineman.
• Attention to detail.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (preferred).
• Safety licenses/certifications preferred (e.g., CIH, CSP, CUSP, OSHT, CHS).
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Must reside in the Houston metro or be willing to relocate to Houston.
• Ability to travel 5% outside of the Houston metro.
