Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead Baldor safety programs at the Bronx facility. You will coordinate with Operations, Transportation, HR, Facilities, Sanitation and Food Safety teams to ensure safety standards and best practices across all shifts and departments.

You will supervise Safety Specialists and Team Leads, respond to incidents, and drive training, education, and continuous improvement in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates progressive expansion of responsibilities in safety leadership.
• Experience coaching or mentoring with demonstrable results.
• High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA 30 certification are required.
• OSHA 500-level courses preferred for advanced safety program delivery.
• Warehouse safety expertise and strong analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department flow of safety tasks and responsibilities with minimal guidance.
• Lead and mentor Safety Specialists and Team Leads on site.
• Determine causes of safety occurrences and implement standard solutions.
• Ensure implementation of safety programs and procedures for all groups at the facility.
• Develop and execute components of Baldor safety policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the safety team and foster relationships with stakeholders.
