Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a safety-focused student or graduate in Wisconsin to assist with safety programs, trainings, and compliance across plants. This role involves collaborating with teams, conducting trainings, and supporting hazard analyses and incident reviews.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a safety-related degree, can work independently, and demonstrate professionalism with strong communication skills. Some travel within Wisconsin/Upper Midwest may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in safety or a related field.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates professionalism and strong ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist plants in reviewing, rewriting, and implementing safety programs.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training.
• Ensure compliance with Hazard Communication, Emergency Action, Fire Prevention, Confined Space, Trenching and Excavation, and OSHA/Corporate safety requirements.
• Work with employees and supervisors to complete JSAs.
• Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks at sites.
• Identify new hazards and coordinate inspections.
• Assist in pre-plans and hazard analyses for new jobs; verify corrective actions.
