Weeks Marine is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead, implement, and audit safety programs across marine construction projects in NY/NJ/CT. The role emphasizes hands-on safety leadership, hazard control, and training while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and CSP/CHST preferred, with strong communication and data analysis skills to support a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP or CHST preferred; OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental health and safety programs at the project level.
• Analyze and interpret occupational illness and accident data at the project level.
• Identify and correct hazards and ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment regularly.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training for staff and clients.
