Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Safety Professional to support safety planning on an Advanced Technology project. You will work with project management and field crews to ensure work is planned and performed safely in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires strong field presence, clear communication, and a willingness to learn. Start times are early with potential for weekends and additional shift coverage as needed.

Based in Portland Oregon, we work primarily in the 11-western states with regional offices in Reno, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Concord, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT.
As a Project Safety Professional, you will work on an Advanced Technology project. In this field-based role, you will work directly with project management, field supervision, and craft employees to identify hazards, support safe work planning, and reinforce Harder’s safety expectations. Work schedule and hours: 5 days a week, 10 hours per day with a start time of 5:00 a.m. Potential for weekend work and additional required shift coverage based on project needs.

As a Project Safety Professional, you will support the application of construction safety standards, company safety requirements, and project specific safety expectations. You will work closely with the project team and field supervision to help ensure work is planned and performed safely in the fast-paced project environment.

This position is salaried, compensation is $112,000 - $138,000.
