Master Steel in Hardeeville, SC is seeking a Safety Manager to own safety across shop, yard, and field erection projects. This in‑person role reports to the HR Manager and offers relocation assistance.

You will lead the safety program, coordinate OSHA compliance, and drive incident investigations while supporting a robust compliance culture across all operations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a similar setting, with OSHA 1910/1926 experience, and strong leadership in safety program

Formación

• Four or more years of progressive safety experience in an AISC Certified fabrication/erection operation.
• Experience with shop safety (OSHA 1910) and steel erection safety (OSHA 1926 Subpart R).
• Proven ability to build and improve safety programs, not just administer them.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to track OSHA and incident data.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites in the Southeast.

Responsabilidades

• Own the company safety program across shop, yard, and field operations.
• Lead safety for fabrication, beaming, cranes, rigging, and PPE programs.
• Develop site safety plans and hazard analyses for projects.
• Audit erection sites, oversee lift planning, and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver new hire safety orientation and training; coordinate certifications.
• Investigate incidents and maintain OSHA logs; support workers' compensation.
