Job summary

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is seeking a Safety Manager to join our Peoria, Arizona team. This role focuses on safety management for construction and manufacturing sectors, including semiconductor-related projects.

The candidate will lead safety initiatives, mentor field teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. The position requires 5-7+ years in the semiconductor field, OSHA 500, and AS/BS in safety disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in the Semiconductor field.
• Base Build experience is a plus.
• OSHA 500 certification is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with safety reps from trade contractors to monitor and improve the program.
• Engage with field teams to support hazard awareness and hazard mitigation.
• Identify better means; assist with alternate installation approaches.
• Serve as a resource on personal safety and work environment guidelines.
• Participate in the site safety leadership team to support site safety goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes; inform the team.

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.

WWPS, is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our growing team in Peoria, Arizona. The successful candidate will have Safety Management experience related to construction in the Semiconductor, Industrial, Chemical, Gas and Oil or Manufacturing markets.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Candidates work history must represents increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout career.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with safety representatives from trade contractors to continuously monitor the program to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with field teams to identify better means of support to include but not limited to:
• Aiding in hazard awareness
• Assistance in identifying means and methods of hazard mitigation
• Alternate installation approaches
• Being a resource for information and guidelines regarding their personal safety and their environment
• Take an active role on the site safety leadership team to support the overall site initiatives and goals for safety
• Stay apprised of industry trends, regulation changes and new tools and techniques and keep the team informed as appropriate
• Work with management and safety professions to develop and deliver safety onboarding training for all new employees
• Other safety related responsibilities as warranted.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in the Semiconductor field
• Base Build experience a plus
• OSHA 500

Education

• AS/BS - Occupational Safety and Health or related degree and/or relevant experience

Work Environment

• Individual will be working primarily in a field environment with potential frequent office work, and training. Validation walks required (may include some work on ladders or lifts).

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk and stand the majority of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally. Must be able to climb ladders and work on lifts.
