The Safety Manager is responsible for training employees on health and safety protocols. In this role, you must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations. The Safety Manager will be responsible for creating an environment where safety is the priority and all employees lead with safety.**A Day in the Life*** Manages the construction, facility, fleet and field operation safety compliance issues for Veit to maintain the health and safety of all field personnel.* Investigates all safety incidents, near misses, workers compensation issues and property damage, determines root cause, and provides the necessary mitigation, communication, and training as a result of the findings.* Performs in-house training related to site safety and safety related regulations.* Writes site-specific safety programs.
