Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to enforce the Corporate Safety & Health Program on-site and drive compliance across project sites. You will lead safety planning with subcontractors, review safety plans, and conduct regular site evaluations to reduce risks.

The role requires 4+ years of field safety management in construction, OSHA 30, and supervisory experience. Travel to regional projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of field safety management experience in the Construction Industry.
• 2+ supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and applicable regulations.
• OSHA 30 is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and enforce the Corporate Safety & Health Program on-site
• Maintain and enhance project-specific safety documentation
• Coordinate and lead pre-construction safety planning with subcontractors
• Review and approve subcontractors' safety plans and hazard analyses
• Conduct regular site safety evaluations and track corrective actions
• Support and monitor toolbox talks and site safety meetings
• Lead accident investigations and ensure proper reporting
• Collaborate with Risk Management to identify and reduce job-site risks
• Deliver and track employee safety training (OSHA10/30, HAZWOPER, etc.)
• Prepare and submit safety data and reports to corporate
• Travel regionally to support multiple projects as needed

Requirements:
