Qualifications

• Ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively.

This position reports to the Safety Director and partners closely with project managers, superintendents, field personnel, and corporate leadership to minimize risk, prevent incidents, and maintain a safe working environment across construction projects.* Lead and administer company safety and health programs for construction and yard operations.* Ensure compliance with OSHA, FRA, FMCSA, MSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Stay current on regulatory updates to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.* Conduct regular jobsite inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and assist with the implementation of corrective actions.* Partner with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.* Participate in pre-construction meetings. Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific safety plans and procedures.* Coordinate and deliver safety orientations, training programs, toolbox talks, and other safety meetings.* Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage events.
