Job summary

Ready Foods, Inc. is seeking a proactive Safety Manager to champion workplace safety and health across our Denver facilities. The role focuses on leading OSHA-compliant safety programs, developing policies, and driving a culture of continuous improvement to protect our team.

The successful candidate will oversee training, monitor safety metrics, and collaborate with leadership to embed safety into daily operations, while maintaining strong regulatory compliance and incident-prevention practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective safety programs.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Certification, CSP, ASP, First Aid/CPR Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain Ready Foods’ Safety and Health Programs to ensure full OSHA compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our safety culture.
  • Oversee OSHA regulatory and site-specific safety training requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Monitor, track, and report safety metrics and trends.
  • Deliver engaging safety training and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Plant Manager to evaluate work practices and ensure safe, compliant conditions.

Ready Foods is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to champion workplace safety and health across our facilities. This role is critical in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and protecting the well-being of our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain Ready Foods’ Safety and Health Programs to ensure full OSHA compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our safety culture.
  • Oversee OSHA regulatory and site-specific safety training requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Monitor, track, and report safety metrics and trends.
  • Facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings and develop committee members.
  • Deliver engaging safety training and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Plant Manager to evaluate work practices and ensure safe, compliant conditions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to embed safety into daily operations.
  • Assist in creating annual safety training materials and incident-related corrective training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
