The Safety Manager plays a critical leadership role in developing, implementing, and managing Mazama Energy’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across all company operations, including research laboratories, drilling operations, construction projects, field activities, and corporate facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations while fostering a proactive culture of safety throughout the organization.
Additionally, Mazama Energy relies on this position to identify and mitigate operational risks, oversee incident investigations, maintain regulatory compliance, manage safety training programs, and provide strategic leadership to continuously improve workplace safety performance.
The position may supervise safety personnel and contractors and reports directly to the Vice President of Operations or designated company leader.
