Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is hiring a Site Safety Manager to lead safety on multiple projects across the United States. The role emphasizes implementing comprehensive safety programs, OSHA compliance, and incident investigations. This traveling position requires strong field leadership and cross-team communication.

You will develop and deliver training, manage documentation, and coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and regulators to uphold Lemartec’s safety standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification at a minimum.
  • CHST preferred or able to obtain CHST within 6 months of hire.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Data center project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety processes and training for ongoing safety awareness and emergency response.
  • Maintain OSHA written programs and recordkeeping per regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and manage inspection procedures for safety equipment.
  • Establish schedules for Job Hazard Analysis preparation, submittal, review, and acceptance.
  • Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analysis program and log tracking.
  • Oversee accident reporting, investigation, and recordkeeping.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements.
  • Analyze near-miss, incident, injury, and illness data; support root-cause analyses.
  • Prepare weekly safety reports and maintain site safety documentation.
  • Enforce environmental policies in line with state and EPA laws.
  • Support safety pre-construction and pre-work meetings; facilitate weekly tailgate safety meetings.
  • Coordinate substance abuse testing and set up medical clinics for sites.
  • Support return-to-work program with employees and medical professionals.

Overview

The Lemartec Site Safety Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety and has a comprehensive knowledge of the day-to-day safety field operations for their assigned project(s), including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes while serving as the company’s point of contact for owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and Lemartec’s team for all safety-related matters.

Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers and supervisors. Assists management in the annual safety overviews. Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow‑up assessments. Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.

Location & Travel Details

You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects. This is a traveling position, requiring travel up to 100% of the time. You may support projects located in various states throughout the US. Potential project locations may include, but are not limited to, PA, KS, NC, SC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, WY, and additional locations are added frequently as our organization continues to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct safety processes and training which provide ongoing safety awareness, emergency response, and safety orientation for new employees
  • Development, delivery, and maintenance of all required OSHA written management processes to include recordkeeping requirements per local, state, and federal regulations
  • Perform daily site safety inspections and the inspection of safety equipment; removal of any defective equipment; and manage the fall protection equipment inspection procedures
  • Establish a schedule for the preparation, submittal, review, and acceptance of Job Hazard Analysis
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive accepted Job Hazard Analysis program through tracking a log
  • Accident Reporting, Accident Investigation, and Recordkeeping
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance regarding safety and health requirements
  • Compiles, analyses, and interprets statistical data related to near‑miss, incidents, injuries, and illnesses
  • Participate in fact‑finding Root Cause Analysis for injury/incident investigations and obtain accident and injury reports from jobsites
  • Record and manage all site safety documentation and provide detailed weekly written reports
  • Implements Company's environmental policies in accordance with all existing and new State/EPA Laws and Regulations
  • Recommends the purchase of all safety equipment
  • Participate in safety pre‑construction meetings and pre‑work meetings
  • Facilitate mass safety meetings and required weekly tailgate safety meetings
  • Compile materials for safety meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes
  • Manage and coordinate substance abuse testing and set up medical clinics for new job sites
  • Facilitate Lemartec’s “return to work program” with employees, medical professionals, and project personnel
Qualifications

Work Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health or related field preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • OSHA 30 certification at a minimum
  • CHST preferred or the ability to complete CHST within 6 months of hire
  • Data center project experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Extensive working knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, or other applicable codes
  • Demonstrated construction safety experience with a field skill set
  • Advanced Safety/Industrial Hygiene Certifications (CHST) or the ability to obtain the CHST preferred
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, safety and health professionals, and legal representatives
  • Proven ability to manage safety in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Full knowledge and understanding of all local, state, and federal OSHA requirements and construction safety
  • Superior communication and organization development skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
  • Experience with the following software:
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Document Control Programs (Procore)
