IES is seeking a Safety professional to implement, administer and monitor safety programs across multiple locations and projects within the assigned region. You will ensure compliance with IES policies and federal/state standards while developing health initiatives to prevent incidents and injuries.
The role includes conducting safety audits, delivering trainings, coordinating root cause investigations, and preparing concise reports.
Must have CHST will consider other BCSP certifications) and/or CSMC. Bachor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety. OSHA 510/500. OSHA 30. First Aid CPR certified. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint. Communications skills. Good customer relations skills. Be willing to travel within a region and willing to work OT and weekends if needed.

Responsible for implementing, administering and monitoring all IES safety policies, procedures and programs for the locations, departments and projects within their assigned geographical region and/or assigned client. Ensures compliance with all IES and Site/Customer safety policies and procedure, as well as Federal and State Standards. Develops and manages Safety/Health initiatives aimed at preventing and eliminating occupational incidents, injuries and illnesses. Perform and instruct in proper techniques to proactively analyze, evaluate, and address work place hazards and incidents.
Min: USD $100,000.00/Yr. Max: USD $115,000.00/Yr.
Physical and Mental Requirements: Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s). Must promote Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Must be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customer, vendor, contractor, and IES representative(s). Must possess proven problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s). Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Must possess the manual dexterity, flexibility and visual acuity to perform inspection functions requiring walking, climbing, squatting, lifting, bending, twisting, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and distinguish all applicable codes, colors and symbols correctly. Maintaining body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs. Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner. Must possess the ability to learn the Company and customer computer systems.
