Job summary

ASM Tech Solutions seeks a full-time on-site Safety Manager for the Atlanta Metro area. You will help build, run, and audit safety programs across water and wastewater projects, performing site inspections, trainings, and regulatory alignment.

You will investigate incidents, propose corrective actions, and maintain safety records while collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and crews to foster a proactive safety culture at multiple active sites.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Strong background in occupational health and industrial safety.
• Experience running EHS programs.
• Skilled at safety training and accident investigation.
• Construction safety in heavy civil/utilities/wastewater work.
• Good knowledge of OSHA rules and safety requirements.
• Training or hands-on experience in trenching and excavation safety.
• Training or hands-on experience in confined space entry.
• Crane and rigging safety awareness; NCCCO a plus.
• Able to conduct field audits, hazard assessments, and corrective actions.
• Strong communicator with crews; comfortable with safety reporting tools.
• Degree in occupational safety or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.

Job description

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Safety Manager role based in the Atlanta Metro area, covering field and office operations. In this role you'll help build, run, and check safety programs across our water and wastewater projects. complete site inspections, attend safety meetings, training, and keeping us in line with company standards and any client, federal, and state regulations. You'll investigate incidents and near misses, recommend fixes, and keep safety records straight. You'll work closely with project managers, superintendents, and crews to build a real safety culture. You'll report to the Safety Director and work along other safety professionals. Expect to move between active job sites across the area.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience required
• Strong background in occupational health and industrial safety
• Experience running EHS programs
• Skilled at safety training and accident investigation
• Construction safety experience, ideally in heavy civil, utilities, water, or wastewater work
• Solid grasp of OSHA rules and other federal, state, and local safety requirements
• Training or hands on experience in trenching and excavation safety
• Training or hands on experience in confined space entry
• Solid working knowledge of crane and rigging safety, NCCCO certification a plus
• Can run field audits, hazard assessments, and build corrective action plans
• Strong communicator who can coach and connect with different crews
• Comfortable with basic office software and safety reporting tools
• Associate or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, construction management, or a related field, or equal hands on experience. A degree in Occupational Safety is a strong plus and may be weighted above certification requirements for the right candidate.

Preferred Certification

• OSHA 500
• CHST or CSP
• TCT/TCS and Flagger Instructor
• First Aid/CPR Instructor
