Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate in occupational safety & health or safety-related degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of safety-related experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations with emphasis in construction.
• Certifications such as CSP/CIH/CHST or similar preferred.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety efforts on multiple projects with leadership and workforce developing metrics to measure safety performance.
• Direct management of subcontractor and contracted safety personnel.
• Develop training and education presentations for jobsite and classroom use.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to deliver a consistent cultural message.
• Assist project teams to create project safety plans and facilitate pre-activity meetings.
• Conduct after-action reviews of loss events and lead RCA of severe events.
• Monitor PPE supplies and promote safety awareness through conversations with crews.
