Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to elevate safety culture across our sites in Crest Hill, IL. You will lead data-driven safety programs, conduct audits and investigations, and deliver engaging training that protects associates while sustaining productivity.

As the building's safety champion, you will partner with frontline teams and leadership to drive continuous improvement, manage incidents, and apply emergency response readiness.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or Bachelor’s degree in EHS background or 6 months safety-related experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Aufgaben

• Lead safety programs with data-driven audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training that promotes a proactive culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and drive cross-level collaboration on safety.
• Support emergency response and care at the site; ensure safety practices across operations.
• Be flexible with shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
