Job summary

The Boldt Company is seeking a Safety Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting safety initiatives across active construction projects. You will work with experienced safety professionals to implement and monitor programs, conduct site audits, support investigations, and help deliver training to promote a strong culture of safety.

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Anticipated Hourly Range: $21 to $25 per hour

As a Safety Intern, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting safety initiatives across active construction projects while working alongside experienced safety professionals and field teams. In this role, you will assist with implementing and monitoring safety programs, conducting site audits and inspections, supporting incident investigations, and helping deliver training and awareness efforts that promote a strong culture of safety. You'll collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and contribute to creating safe, healthy, and productive jobsites for everyone.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $21 to $25 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program. Preferred majors/concentrations in Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety Management, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Passion and desire to work in the construction industry
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls.
• Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred. Passion and desire to work in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.

Nice to Have

• Prior work experience, internship preferred but not required.
