E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Safety Inspector to support a major natural gas pipeline construction project in Los Angeles, CA. This is a high-visibility, field-based role focused on driving safety performance and regulatory compliance on active worksites.

The position requires extensive construction safety experience, strong OSHA knowledge, and a proven ability to lead safety initiatives on-site with contractors and client representatives.

Formación

• 10+ years of construction safety experience (utility, oil & gas, or heavy industrial preferred).
• Experience supporting natural gas facilities, pipelines, or compressor stations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• The role is 100% on-site with no hybrid available.
• Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist field management with implementation of new and existing safety and training programs to meet company requirements and government regulations.
• Provide daily safety leadership on an active compressor station construction site.
• Lead JHAs, tailboards, and pre-task planning.
• Perform site audits, inspections, and hazard identification.
• Enforce compliance with OSHA, client standards, and company policies.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Track and report safety metrics and observations.
• Coordinate with multiple contractors and trades to maintain safe operations.
• Review and approve permits and high-risk work.

Overview

E2 is seeking an experienced Safety Inspector to support a major natural gas pipeline construction project. This critical field leadership role will be responsible for driving safety performance, ensuring regulatory and project compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all phases of construction. The Safety Inspector will work closely with project leadership, contractors, and client representatives to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and promote safe work practices in the field. This is a high-profile, field-based position with significant visibility and influence on overall project success.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety leadership on an active compressor station construction site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience (utility, oil & gas, or heavy industrial preferred).
• Experience supporting natural gas facilities, pipelines, or compressor stations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience in live gas / active utility environments.
• Strong field presence and communication skills.
• The role is 100% on-site with no hybrid available.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient with computers, portable electronic tablets, and supporting software including Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

Hourly range for this position is $55.00/hr. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
