Safety-Kleen in Independence, MO is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Material Handler) to complete all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.

The role operates within all local, state, and federal rules and Safety-Kleen policies. Pay range is $14.42–$28.85 per hour with potential overtime; benefits include health coverage after 30 days, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Responsibilities

• Unload containerized waste from the route trucks
• Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs
• Ensure waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport
• Stock the warehouse with received materials
• Prepare waste loads for shipment
• Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning)
• Observe third party bulk liquid transfers
• Assist with inventory count at warehouse
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with DOT and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
