Job summary

DiVal Safety Equipment Akron, OH is seeking a General Warehouse/Delivery Associate. The role involves warehouse duties, delivery to customers, inventory control, and on-site PPE replenishment with safety as a priority.

The ideal candidate can manage multiple tasks, lift 50 lbs, and has a valid driver’s license. Training on equipment like forklifts and RF scanners is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a NON-D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
• Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Valid Driver’s License (Vehicle Transit Van or 16” box truck).
• Experience with warehouse equipment and handheld devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety first: follow safety training and direction at all times.
• Handle warehousing tasks: picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stock put-away.
• Provide on-site delivery and inventory replenishment of PPE products.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels at customer locations.
• Submit daily paperwork promptly and complete maintenance duties as directed.
