Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Fork Truck Operator to support our Idaho operations. The role requires safety and quality focus, teamwork as needed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication with shift leads and supervisors.

Responsibilities include operating industrial vehicles, inspecting inbound/outbound loads, maintaining FIFO, and keeping accurate paperwork. Flexibility for long shifts and schedule changes is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate paperwork.
• Able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours, lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds, and work in cooler conditions around 35 degrees.
• Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Team Members, Office Clerk, Inventory Lead, and Supervisor.
• Work 12-Hour rotational schedule and be flexible if hours are needed on off-shift days.
• Train and share knowledge with team members to help improve their skills.
• Keep well maintained, legible documents and have them turned into the office in a timely manner.
• Be involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the department.
• Maintain a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiencies.
• Work with other departments to create and maintain a “whole team” atmosphere.
• Keep areas clean and organized following the 6-S guidelines.
• Enforce and observe all safety rules and regulations as put forth by Chobani and OSHA.
• Operate all industrial powered vehicles required for assigned area safely and efficiently.
• Properly inspect, ship, and receive inbound loads in a timely, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Fill out all necessary paperwork accurately, legibly and correctly for each load.
• Properly store all goods in proper locations to avoid improper rotation with all required information present on each item (Lot #, inventory count, allergen sticker, etc.).
• Maintain First in First out guidelines (FIFO) on all stored goods.
• Turn in paperwork in a timely manner.
• Must keep equipment in good working order and use lock out tag out procedures for non-operation equipment.
• Maintain battery room clean and organized at all times.
• Change and maintain batteries, and associated equipment, in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead, Manager and Supervisor
