Job summary

4-Horn Trench & Shoring in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to load and move trench safety equipment between branch and client locations. The role emphasizes safe, legal operation, regular vehicle maintenance, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of commercial truck driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT and drug/alcohol screenings. Overtime availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Must pass DOT physical and all required drug and alcohol screenings.
• Minimum of one-year commercial truck driving experience.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record for insurance coverage purposes.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have a basic understanding of truck maintenance concepts.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads equipment, using forklifts, delivering between branch and client locations.
• Act as a liaison between customers and branch departments to meet rental equipment delivery expectations.
• Produce all required service tickets, time sheets, and other work documentation accurately and timely.
• Produce DOT inspections, logs, and documentation as required by law to branch management.
• Be an ambassador for safety, ensuring all work and driving is performed safely.
• Maintain truck appearance and note any vehicle deficiencies to branch management.
• Pursue all required job-related training as required.
• Perform other duties as required by Management.
