Job summary

INEOS Pigments USA is seeking a Chemical Process Operator for a 12-hour day/night rotating shift in our Ashtabula, OH plant. The role focuses on safe operation of equipment, adherence to SHE policies, and maintaining quality in titanium dioxide production and packing.

Teamwork and strong communication are essential to troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve processes. The position requires a high school diploma, experience with shift work, and a solid safety track record.

Qualifications

• Completed High School education.
• Experience with shift work.
• Strong safety focus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an adaptable team environment.
• Ability to write legibly and read decimals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computing skills in basic Office software.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to SHE policies and Life Saving Rules.
• Adjust operations to meet safety, quality, and environmental requirements; tend equipment.
• Report and resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency or quality; troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor in-process quality for slurry production and packaging quality; sign work permits.
• Perform tasks as outlined in SOPs; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Carry out quality-related jobs per Quality Procedures.
• Complete all documentation accurately; follow company rules and guidelines.
• Adhere to current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Other duties as assigned.
