Job summary

ESFM, the corporate facilities management division of Compass Group USA, seeks a Safety Facilities Manager to reduce claims and injuries by delivering safety and workers' compensation support to local units through training, inspections, policy deployment, and performance measurement. This will be accomplished via routine meetings, site visits, and on-site assessments.

The role requires performing site visits, risk assessments, reporting monthly status, training managers, and ensuring OSHA

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and risk evaluations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures facilities comply with OSHA and other standards through inspections.
  • Develops and administers loss prevention and safety programs.
  • Provides safety training to managers and staff.
  • Maintains OSHA recordkeeping and reports trends to management.
  • Coordinates return‑to‑work processes for injured employees.
