Scot Forge Company is seeking two Safety Interns for a Co-Op internship in Safety and Environmental Health. Openings are in Spring Grove, IL and Clinton, WI, with the program running from June 2027 to December 2027 and options across Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

The role offers paid compensation, professional development, and hands-on project work within a manufacturing setting, aimed at applying safety theory in real-world operations.

Formación

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Occupational Safety or Environmental Engineering.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and safety management principles.
• Ability to recognize hazards, analyze them, and offer solutions using proven safety/incident investigation tools.
• Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must pass a 90-day head hair drug test.

Safety Co-Op

Scot Forge Company is looking to hire 2 Safety Interns, one in each Spring Grove, IL and Clinton, WI locations. The Co-Op is available from June 2027 to December 2027 and the internship is available for Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. A Safety Co-Op at Scot Forge will offer a student the opportunity to practice occupational safety theory in a real‑world setting.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in Bachelor or Master degree program in Occupational Safety or Environmental Engineering, Junior standing or above.

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Safety & Environmental regulations and safety management principle
• Ability to recognize problems/ hazards, analyze them, and offer solutions using proven safety/ incident investigation analysis tools.

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must be able to pass a 90 day head hair drug test.
