Consulting Plus Group in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Safety Engineer to own the problem end to end—from MySQL prototypes to pager nights. You will pair-program with engineers, build self-service tools, and reduce Linux boot times.

• Experience handling MySQL edge cases and end-to-end ownership of small tech projects.
• Ability to pair-program with engineers on complex problems across a team.

Responsabilidades

• Pair-program tricky MySQL edge cases with engineers across Grand Rapids, MI
• Build JavaScript self-service tools so Grand Rapids teams stop filing tickets for everything
• Cut Linux cold-start times so Consulting Plus Group functions wake before MI users notice
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship features end to end
• Own the values-led MySQL subsystem that the rest of Consulting Plus Group quietly depends on
• Replace the brittle Kubernetes hack with a CI/CD solution that survives Grand Rapids scale
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
• Catch the high-trust C# regression in staging before it ever reaches Grand Rapids customers
