Job summary

Orange County Public Schools is seeking a Senior Manager in Occupational Safety and Health to oversee enterprise-wide health and safety programs within the Safety and Emergency Management Office. The role entails coordinating safety initiatives district-wide, auditing programs, and leading training and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a health-related field plus 1 year of safety experience or CST/ASP certification.
• One year of safety experience preferred in K-12, workers' compensation, emergency management, or risk management.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 and CPR/AED within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise health and safety programs across the district.
• Perform health and safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions with site admins.
• Manage district’s emergency life-saving measures program (AED, trauma kits, etc.).
• Audit health and safety compliance; develop and deliver training programs.
