Qualifications

• 3+ years of a valid US driving license.

• Clean driving record with no DUI, drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully to collect data on system performance.
• Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and operations leaders to provide feedback.
• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing for safety.
• Prepare vehicles daily for in-field operations with safety checks.
• Submit detailed reports to support system advancements and improvements.
• Be prepared for other drivers and pedestrians and for unexpected events.
• Stay alert and distraction-free while in vehicles.

Schedule

Full time (usually 30+ hours/week

Available Schedules:

Tuesday - Saturday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Friday - Monday (10 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Available Shifts:
AM Shift Options:
4:30 am - 3:00 pm (Friday - Monday)
5:00 am - 1:30 pm (Tuesday - Saturday)
5:30 am - 2:0 pm (Tuesday - Saturday)
6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Tuesday - Saturday)
PM Shift Options:
2:30 pm - 1:00 am (Friday - Monday)3:30 pm - 12:00 am (Tuesday - Saturday
4:00 pm - 12:30 am (Tuesday - Saturday)

As a Safety Driver, you'll:

• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully to collect critical data on system performance and environmental factors.
• Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and company operations leaders to provide feedback and insights.
• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing to ensure operational safety.
• Prepare vehicles daily for in-field operations, including safety checks and system readiness.
• Submit detailed reports to support system advancements and operational improvements.
• Be prepared for the actions of other drivers and pedestrians as well as for unexpected events.
• Be alert and distraction free while in vehicles.

It will be an advantage if: Knowledge of technical aspects of vehicles and control systems. Experience working with autonomous vehicles Safe driving courses, motorsport experience, defensive driving skills

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of a valid US driving license.

Have excellent knowledge of local traffic regulations.

Have excellent communication skills.

Have a willingness to work in various weather conditions and on different types of roads. Have a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.

Have a clean driving record, absent of DUI, drug and/or alcohol related offenses within the last 5 years.
