Job summary

Lazer Logistics is seeking a safety-focused Yard Spotter to move trailers within busy distribution and manufacturing yards. You will operate yard trucks to position trailers at docks, staging areas, and parking locations, following dispatch instructions and site procedures.

You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, document trailer moves using yard management technology, and communicate clearly with warehouse, drivers, and dispatch in a 24/7 environment with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of trailers and equipment.
Document trailer moves using yard management technology and dispatch notes.
Move trailers to docks, staging areas, and parking spots following procedures.
Follow dispatch instructions and site procedures consistently and safely.
Adhere to safety rules, PPE standards, and maintain reliable attendance in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to position trailers at docks, staging areas, and parking locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any deficiencies.
Document all trailer movements using yard management software and logs.
Communicate clearly with warehouse staff, drivers, and dispatch to coordinate moves.
