Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move and stack products for shipping and receiving. The role requires operating standard sit-down/stand-up forklifts, scanning, labeling, and adhering to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The position includes paperwork, inventory tasks, and routine inspections to ensure inspections and customer needs are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Scan product and print labels using equipment.
• Complete paperwork and manage inventory systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily forklift inspections per the Safety Checklist.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
