Job summary

Clayton Supply Morristown is seeking a reliable forklift operator to join our distribution warehouse team. You will operate forklifts to move, locate, load, and unload products efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, plus warehouse experience and a solid commitment to safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack, or other equipment) safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using proper procedures.
• Accurately pick, transport, and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
