** Job Summary**
The Safety Manager is responsible for a full range of activities ensuring operation effectiveness and excellence in all areas of business administration. The primary function of the Safety Coordinator is to ensure that checks and balances within the scope of safety management are maintained in a fashion compliant with OSHA regulations and are consistent with the quality management system.

Other subjective factors considered in assessing job performance include the ability to balance applied expertise and knowledge with "soft skills" such as interpersonal skills, communication ability, aptitude for learning and adaptation, computer skills, abstract and conceptual thinking, and accurate planning and prediction of operational activities.
KPIs may or may not be quantified using formal systems of performance measurement but will be assessed qualitatively at times of performance review.

This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
