Nestlé S.A. located near Eden, NC, is seeking an Health & Safety Department coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support. You will assist with data integrity, report generation, and compliance audits, while coordinating purchasing, inventory, and PPE payments.

The role emphasizes safety and daily floor presence in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint safety systems, incident reporting workflows, and supporting special projects

• Maintain Safety Systems for SharePoint, Website Updates (Incident Report Generation/Action Follow Up, and other Corporate Report Generation Requirements)
• Manage special projects such as Hearing Test Scheduling and Confined Space Audits
• Support relationship and associated administrative tasks (inventory with key vendors), etc
• Works safely, models all safety practices and provides daily safety representation in required meetings and floor presence.

As a member of the Health & Safety Department reporting to the Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the plant Safety Department, ensuring the effective coordination of safety programs, regulatory compliance, and daily departmental activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 1 year of administrative experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, military, retail, healthcare, construction, or related environment.

Salary: $45,696.60 to$63,704.00 per year

Bonus Eligibility:Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
