POSITION PURPOSE
The position serves as a highly visible safety resource while maintaining a professional, service-oriented presence consistent with the mission and values of the school district. Works closely with the Superintendent, Senior Executive Director of Safety, Security & Student Transport, district leadership, law enforcement partners, and event personnel to identify and mitigate security risks. Provides professional, discreet, and proactive security and transportation for the Superintendent during official district activities, meetings, public events, and other assignments. Exercises sound judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, and responds appropriately to emergencies or potential threats.

- Assists with expedient and secure movement of the Superintendent between vehicles, buildings, meeting locations, and event venues.
- Provides security support for the Superintendent during district and community activities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS, WORK HAZARDS
- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals; District vehicles.
- Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Accredited High School diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency required;
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in a related field preferred. - Certification/License: Required: Valid Texas driver's license;
Insurable by the District's insurance carrier;
Ability to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and registrations required by the district and applicable Texas law for the position. - Preferred: Current CPR/AED and first-aid certification;
Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification.
Experience: 3-7 years of experience in law enforcement, military, protection, or security required.

- NO vehicular assault, manslaughter, or homicide.
- NO operating a vehicle with suspended or revoked driver's license.
