Shell Point Retirement Community is seeking a full-time Safety & Security Representative. You’ll help maintain a safe, welcoming campus by monitoring entrances, patrolling the property and assisting residents and visitors as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida Class D Security License and has about 1 year of security, law enforcement, or related experience, with a friendly, professional demeanor. This is a 12-hour day shift position.

Qualifications

• Florida Class D Security License is required.
• About 1 year of general security, law enforcement, military or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, safe environment at entrances.
• Monitor the property and address issues as needed.

What We’re Looking For…Shell Point has an opportunity for a full-time Safety & Security Representative to join our team! We are a community with 2,600 residents and over 1,000 employees and we are looking for individuals who have an interest in providing safety and security through attentive, friendly and responsive customer service. Security representatives will provide a welcoming environment at our entrances, monitor the property and address issues of concern or provide assistance as needed. The ideal candidate will have a class D security license from the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Service, one year general security, law enforcement, military or other related experience, and a positive, friendly and helpful demeanor.
