Job summary

Block by Block is hiring a Safety Ambassador to patrol assigned zones outdoors, assist pedestrians, and help keep public spaces safe and friendly. This role emphasizes friendly engagement, observation, and reporting to support community safety.

Shifts are 1st and 2nd, with weekly pay and pay advances available. Prior TX driver’s license is preferred; must be 18+ and able to work outdoors in all weather. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with ability to interact with the public.
• Ability to observe and describe situations clearly.
• Ability to document tasks and reports in writing.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the assigned zone on foot or bike to deter unwanted activity.
• Provide information and directions to pedestrians and visitors with a positive demeanor.
• Identify and report safety concerns or crimes to local authorities as needed.
