Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Safeguards and Security Specialist Energy to join our Oak Ridge, TN team. You will oversee access control, serve as the security representative for the facility, and support ISMS principles while coordinating with Isotek Operations and Maintenance personnel.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, security-related associate degree preferred, and 3+ years in safeguards.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in security-related field preferred.
• Requires three (3) years experience in safeguards and Security preferred.
• Must be familiar with DOE Order in physical security.
• Protective Force experience preferred.
• Performance Testing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 90-100 pounds.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain National Training Center PMC-410, Fundamentals of Performance Testing.
• Ability to obtain National Training Center PMC-420DE, Physical Systems of Overview.
• Ability to obtain National Training Center VAC-200, Vulnerability Assessment Fundamentals.
• Ability to obtain Human Reliability Program certification and DOE “Q” access authorization.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
• Applicants must have Real ID compliant identification to access the work location.
• U.S. citizenship required for AtkinsRéalis/Isotek Systems Project positions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists Isotek Performance Testing with limited notice, no notice, and scheduled performance tests of Isotek programs contained in approved performance testing plans.
• Serves as Lock and Key Custodian for the facility.
• Supports tours, demonstrations, and visitor access to facility.
• Performs escort duties as required.
• Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions of the Isotek Safety Culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $65,000 - $109,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
