Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a Van Driver to safely transport children to and from school and the childcare center, adhering to safety policies and licensing regulations. The role requires professional communication with parents and staff, and careful vehicle maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, be at least 21, and pass background checks; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable. This is an on-site position with benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children between the daycare center and designated schools according to the schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and center transportation policies.
• Maintain attendance logs for children during pick-up and drop-off.
• Assist children in and out of the van, ensuring seatbelts are fastened and secure.
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and daycare staff on transportation matters.
• Keep the van clean, organized, and stocked with safety supplies.
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, and delays to the Center Director.
• Support classroom staff as needed when not driving (optional).
