POSITION AVAILABLE: SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Minimum Qualifications

• Have a working knowledge of the New Mexico State Statutes
• Have an understanding of the New Mexico Children’s Code.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dealing with school related policies and sanctions.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
• Must be currently certified by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy or certification by waiver of previous training.
• Ability to complete Field Training and Evaluation Program.
• Ability to complete a bi-annual advance in-service training
• Supervisory Experience preferred.

Salary and Work Year: As established by the Los Lunas Schools current Salary Schedule 189 day contract.
