Child Development Schools in Clayton, NC is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students and to support classrooms alongside the Lead Teacher. You will engage with children during activities, meals, and outdoor time, and help with attendance and daily reports to keep a warm, structured environment.

Qualifications include being 21+, a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with families
• Physical ability to meet demands of working with young children
• Clean driving record
• A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for Before/After School programs
• Support classrooms with Lead Teacher
• Engage with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share development notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through daily communication
• Assist with attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe bus environment
