Through These Doors in Cape Elizabeth, ME, seeks a SAFE Program Educator to develop and deliver education supporting survivors of domestic violence and those who have perpetrated abuse, as part of the prevention program. The role is based at the administrative office in Cape Elizabeth with some travel required, and comprehensive training is provided to new staff.

Prior experience is valuable, and the team emphasizes collaboration, social justice, and community safety.

Responsibilities

• Pilot and offer SAFE parenting education curriculum in Cumberland County; support and oversee other trainers in this effort.
• Engage in developing parenting education curriculum that supports parenting skills for survivors and those who perpetrate abuse.
• Collaborate with project partners to produce a public report on the SAFE program.
• Assist in developing and implementing evaluation structure for the SAFE program.
