Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a licensed CDL driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer or box truck to deliver finished product to customers in accordance with DOT and company policies. You will maintain the vehicle, support on-time delivery on established routes, inspect loads, verify counts, and complete documentation for the Transportation Manager.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDLA License.
• Prior experience driving in large vehicles, such as box truck or similar.
• Demonstrated experience practicing safe driving practices.
• Previous experience delivering and handling freight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or box truck to deliver finished product to customers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in safe, road-ready condition.
• Support on-time delivery by following established routes and schedules.
• Inspect loads, verify counts, and obtain signatures for bills of lading and documentation.
