Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking a dependable forklift operator for our NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet to support fast-paced terminal operations. You will move palletized shipments and load trailers while adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations and ensuring safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include cross-dock unloading and loading, maintaining load integrity, performing routine equipment checks, and keeping trailers and docks clean and organized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and trailers to maximize trailer utilization.
• Maintain accuracy of loads and ensure safety and OSHA/DOT compliance.
• Operate forklift safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow cross-dock procedures and adapt to deadlines.
