Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking an Electrical & Electronics SAF Engineer in Baltimore, MD. You will serve as a customer technical contact and interpret standards for hazardous location equipment while designing and conducting test procedures.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree and at least four years of product safety engineering experience, with travel as needed. Excellent benefits and full-time schedule are included.

• Requires a four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical degree with relevant work experience.
• Four years of direct work experience in product safety engineering and hazardous location equipment product safety engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer technical contact.
• Interpret standards and apply the requirements to products under investigation.
• Create and implement test procedures.
• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
• Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
• Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).
• Monitors multiple projects underway.
• Prepare certification reports and related documents.

Job Description

SAF Engineering Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer technical contact.

Additional Information
